Acupuncture is the insertion of thin needles into specific body points.

It is helpful in the treatment of:

The typical course of treatment is once per week for 4-6 weeks. After 6 weeks, the frequency of treatments is reduced gradually to every other week, then every third week. We often do a maintenance treatment every 4-8 weeks depending on the animal’s needs.

Herbal Medicine

  • Use of preparations made from Chinese and western plants with traditionally and scientifically established healing properties. Powders and tinctures (liquids).
  • Helpful for arthritis, cancers, organ and skin conditions, general wellness.
  • Usually dosed daily in powder or liquid form
